Billy is a lovely lad looking for a quieter life where he will receive all the love he deserves.
He will be staying with me until the right home comes along.
He will be looking to hack & potentially low level riding, preferably no jumping as he’s had a busy life

He is NOT tried! He is not in the condition to try.

He is currently both stabled & going out in a herd whilst putting on weight
I’m taking him for walks in hand & walking over poles etc to help him start to strengthen again

Believed to of hunted at this time too

Afterwards he was pretty much left in a field for 2 years in which time he had lost all muscle & condition.
Lady I’ve bought him from had begun getting him back on the right track & had him fully checked over by her vets who deemed him suitable to be ridden again once he has regained his condition

Previous owner has spoken to jockeys from yards he was at & he was always known as the BFG

He does have a large windgall on his off hind fetlock. Vets have seen this & said it doesn’t cause him any issues & should just be left alone.

He also had some damage to his dock at some point due to a tail bandage


He has no stable vices & it really easy to work with

He is available as he is as a “project” due to not being tried. He is looking for someone who wants to take him & give him all the love & attention he deserves.
