◾️Hacking
Mostly going out in company, very much enjoys it, looks around but keeps a sane head. Passes traffic no issue & enjoys leading the way, but will happily sit at the back on buckle end too

I have taken her hacking alone a few times, she is no issue at all but is still gaining confidence so will look to her rider for confidence at times therefore needs a confident rider. Majority of the time she is forward & wants to be out!

◾️Schooling
Currently working away in walk, trot & canter in the arena. She is forward but respectful of the aids. Has a fantastic brain & loves to learn!

Does want to get going as you get on but will stand nicely after she’s had a walk. (This will improve)
She has big, expressive paces
She is learning to work on a soft contact
She rides the same both in an arena & on grass

She has popped a tiny x pole, I don’t jump young horses much but wanted to give her the experience for the future

◾️On the Ground
Gloves is full of character, loves attention, she can pull the odd mare face, but as soon as you actually go to her, her ears are pricked

She is easy to handle, catches, leads etc all very well.

She is a good doer! Currently eating a handful of Ease & Excel & has ad lib hay & turned out of grass overnight.

Stood quietly without sedation for the dentist

She loves other horses & wants to be everyone’s friend!

◾️Out & About
We have been taking Gloves in-hand showing, so far she’s all in the reds
She attended an NCPS show, coming 1st in the ex racehorse, Champion in-hand & Reserve Supreme Champion overall with lots of positive feedback & gaining POYS qualification
A local ESAH show she come 1st in the ex racehorse section
She loads & travels beautifully & behaving perfectly in the show environment

She has also been out to a couple of pleasure rides, her first ridden experience away from home out of racing.
She behaved beautifully,
The first one we were in a big group & she rode at the front/back/middle.
Went for gallops & plodded buckle end, went through streams

Second one, Rawfoot, we went with one friend, plodded lovely, went for very nice canters & a good gallop. Covered lots of terrain & gave jumping a go! Just nice smaller fences, 50/60cm logs, steps up & a small wall.
There were horses in all directions & she kept her cool!

We have also been out for a private Flatwork lesson, first time in a new arena & behaved beautifully. Then some polework to finish.

A real promising little horse!

◾️Previously
She has come direct from the race training yard, Linda Perrett Racing.
She finished racing June 2024 & come to start retraining early 2025

◾️Home looking for
She will be looking for someone experienced with ex racehorses to continue her education.
Someone who wants to have fun with their horse.
A show home would also suit, fantastic stamp for RoR
She enjoys pleasure rides too so a pretty all round, enjoyable home would suit her

She could also be produced onto eventing/riding club etc
