About the Horse
Schooling
Works well in all 3 paces. Capable of a nice dressage test. - I’m not saying she’s heading to Grand Prix but for someone to enjoy their local trips out she would give a nice test
Thoroughly enjoys her work, enthusiastic, will offer canter after she’s had her first one, would always need leg to actually back up her offering to go, she wouldn ’t just set off
Has popped fences, genuine with this and not spooky, hasn’t done loads but shows a lovely shape.
Hacking
This is what she really enjoys!
Hacks alone & in company, great in traffic.
Not a spooky type, may have a look around but you can always ask her to walk on by things
Will go first or last & great in open spaces
On the Ground
Lovely to deal with on the day to day
She is happy to both be stabled and turned out
Has happily lived alone but also been turned out with different horses and ponies
-Good to lead, load, catch, shoe
-Was mostly good to clip, couple areas she wasn’t keen on
Had sedation for dentist

Phoenix did have some problems when her owners first purchased her a couple of years ago.
She had hormonal problems which then resulted in ulcers. This was all treated.
She had 6 monthly Improvac injections, however the vets said she wouldn’t always need this, however with lots of changes to her routine we continued.
The ulcers were only caused by the hormonal issues & once treated have not reoccurred.
She come to me to be brought back into schooling work after these issues in 2024.
She has never put a hoof out of place since.
Previously
Phoenix was with me for a month in 2024 for schooling on behalf of her owners.
Since, she has been out to dressage & lots of hacking, riding in fields.
She has been mainly ridden by a teenager
(Exams force sale)
Type of Home
Hacking, dressage, all rounder
She is looking for a kind rider, she needs firm but fair, too soft she will take the P, try to bully her you would only annoy her.
Work with her and she is the most fun!
She has fitted tack & rugs available.
She is ridden in a smart solution saddle, which we found for her when she was with me for schooling.
